Pizza time

On February 16, 2023, we made pizza. It was a Thursday night, and we made one cheese and one pepperoni. I (Caleb) enjoyed putting the cheese on my pizza and serving it to the taste-testers (Dad and Annabelle).

I (mom) prepped the dough before the kids came home. I rolled the dough and tossed it with lots of flour. I baked two oval-shaped crusts for 8 minutes at 500 degrees, so they would be ready to top after pick-up. We really enjoyed this cozy dinner, especially because Dad had made tomato and sausage soup! Yum.

The cheese pizza was unusually shaped because I (Caleb) tried curling the crust over into the cheese to make a cheesy crust. But then, it backfired – because mom had pre-cooked the crust! (Whoops. ) Then I had to unroll the crust and restart my pizza. It was still delicious!

Vday Bolognese

We had a really yummy Valentine’s Day meal (a day before Valentine’s Day) – homemade bolognese! Plus pasta, carrots and crème brûlée .

Dad pretty much made the whole meal
He had a little help, too!

Not bad for a bunch of at-home chefs!
